An elegant vase made in Japan by Yamaji, stamped on the underside. It features a pair of pink and purple long tailed birds sitting in a tree that is covered with pink flowers. The shape of the vase is cylindrical with a flared rim. There is a raised seam that starts at the top rim and extends to the bottom of the vase that gives the appearance that the vase was rolled. The top rim is accented with gilding, an elegant vase win great condition. Please note some very slight wear to the gilding due to age.
