Mougin & Piquard is a watch brand with a complex history, originally founded in Paris in 1852 by the Mougin family. It has undergone multiple revivals and transitions over the decades. By the 1920s, the company was known for traditional mechanical watches with a "Parisian sensibility". Production grew significantly in the mid-20th century, reaching 110,000 watches per year by 1979.
