In 1890, Herbert Joseph Colclough established Colclough Bone China. King George V and Queen Mary paid him a visit in 1913 and granted Colclough a royal licence to create Royal Vale porcelain. The name continued to be utilised by succeeding businesses long into the 1970s as a result of the reputation the company built for itself. This particular line was rapidly expanding at the start of the 1930s, and they began to make tableware and tea sets that are still in high demand today. Their beautiful bone china added elegance to daily life. Colclough china has some of the most exquisite designs and patterns, so it's no wonder that people adore it so much. In the 1970s, Colclough joined the Royal Doulton Family. But in 1996, production was stopped, and manufacturing also ended.
