Spectacular Vintage Fine Australian China ‘St. Kilda’ 14 Piece Coffee Set from C.1960’s. No one has been able to determine the origins or location of ‘St. Kilda‘ China, making it a true Australiana mystery. Gold coffee sets are the most popular items with the ‘St. Kilda’ China logo. These sets are of excellent quality and are in a style that must have been very popular in Australia in the 1960s — ‘Westminster’, ‘Avondale’, ‘Classic China Australia’, and ‘C. R. Hose’ all created examples. The company was in operation as least by 1963, when the Rogers department store offered ‘St. Kilda’ China in their Winter Sale lines, according to an advertisement in the Canberra Times on July 4th, 1963. Set consists of x6 Coffee Cups, x6 Saucers, x1 Sugar Bowl & x1 Coffee Pot. Bone China Set is covered with Impressive 22ct Gold-Plating and comes in Excellent Condition.
