Vintage Print of ‘Afternoon at the block’ Watercolour by Des Brennan. Born in Kalgoorlie, WA in 1945, Desmond Brennan was apprenticed to a commercial artist. After serving in the Vietnam War 1966-68, he studied at the Perth School of Art for three years and then took an apprenticeship in commercial art for 5 years. A watercolourist, he paints landscapes and streetscapes. He held his first solo exhibition in Perth in 1971 and since then has exhibited in WA. He lives in Bow Bridge in the south of WA. The highest price recorded for the artist is $3450 for ‘Green Island, Rottnest’ sold by McKenzies auctioneers in May 2005. This particular Print comes Framed and in Very Good Condition.
