Capodimonte porcelain is a type of porcelain that was produced in Italy during the 18th and 19th centuries, specifically at the Royal Factory of Capodimonte in Naples. The factory early production focused on tableware and figurines, but later expanded to include a wider range of decorative items such as vases, urns and candelabra. The factory was known for its use of vibrant colours and gilding, as well as its detailed and realistic figurines of animals, mythological figurines, and historical characters.
