Stunning pair of Art Nouveau lithograph prints on canvas of Grecian-style woman adorned in beautiful fabric and gold. In very good condition with slight wear and tear to the wooden frame, appropriate for its age. The head of the frame is raised with a bordered floral decal  and the bottom corners of the frame feature beautiful geometric inlay. 

Born in 1976, Guerzoni studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti of Bologna for three years (1894 - 1897) under the mentorship of Giovanni Bedini. Guerzoni became quite popular as portrait and landscape painter (mostly oils, pastels, and Art Nouveau guaches). Many of his pieces, mostly views of Italian cities and portraits of young women and children) were massively reproduced on postcards and advertisement pieces.
