In 2009, Denby commemorated two centuries of English craftsmanship, originating with salt-glazed pottery in 1809. Even after more than 180 years, they maintain their commitment to traditional techniques. The stoneware, crafted in Derbyshire, is not only visually appealing but also durable and unique. Denby boasts a collection of over 5,000 distinct glazes and numerous designs in their archives. Each piece undergoes meticulous craftsmanship by twenty-five artisans before being exported worldwide. The Greenwich range, celebrating over two decades of success, draws inspiration from captivating emerald gems, resulting in a stunning green glaze that adds sophistication to any kitchen. Every item in this range is meticulously designed and handcrafted at Denby Pottery by skilled artisans, whose expertise spans generations.
