Pyrex (trademarked as PYREX and pyrex) is a brand of clear, low-thermal-expansion borosilicate glass created by Corning Inc. in 1915 for scientific glassware and cookware. Later on, it was expanded to include soda-lime glass and other materials ware. Corning Inc.'s product division, which developed PYREX, was spun out from its parent firm in 1998 as Corning Consumer Products Company, which was later renamed Corelle Brands. Corning Inc. no longer makes or sells consumer goods, focusing instead on industrial goods. For its tempered soda-lime glass range of kitchenware products and related accessories offered in the United States, South America, and Asia, Instant Brands continues to licence the pyrex (lowercase) brand. International Cookware licences the PYREX (all uppercase) brand in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for bakeware manufactured of borosilicate and soda-lime glass, stoneware, metal, and vitroceramic cookware. Other corporations in places such as Japan and Australia have previously used the brand name for cooking tools and bakeware. Vintage Glass Dish comes in Good Condition with minor Chip as shown in the pictures and with Original Maker’s Mark.
