This piece is Reflets Verts (Green Reflections), which is one of the large-scale mural panels installed at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris. Monet painted the Water Lilies series over many years, starting in the late 1890s, at his home in Giverny, France. He focused solely on the surface of his lily pond, capturing the changing light and reflections, a key characteristic of the Impressionist movement he helped found.
