This beautiful rare Royal Dux Bohemia ceramic piece is in great antique condition. A small chip on the lip of the shell, refer to images. The figurine shows a typical Royal Dux muted pastel colour pallet with gold highlighting. A crab can be seen stretched out on the base of the piece and water flowing from the pot under the maidens arm. A magnificent piece and a Royal Dux Bohemia collector’s dream. 
 
The underside of the figurine shows the number ’1049’ and the pink triangle hallmark of Royal Dux Bohemia, a porcelain company founded in the Czech Republic in 1853. This pink triangle with the letter ‘E’ dates this piece to between 1900 and 1918.
