Simon Fielding established his firm at the railway works in Sutherland Street, Stoke-on-Trent, in 1878, and began trading as 'S Fielding & co' with his son Abraham. Fieldings made fashionable Majolica and were big exporters of the items to the United States. The ‘Crown Devon’ mark did not exist until the late 1880s, and the Railway plant was not renamed 'The Devon Pottery' until 1912. ‘Crown Devon’ was known for its high-quality products, which were shipped to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Today, their items are highly collectable. Antique Creamer is in Good Condition.
