Vintage Gold Toned Carriage Hermle Quartz Battery Operated Mantel Clock. Manufactured in West Germany around C.1980’s. Franz Hermle & Sons established Hermle Clocks in Southern Germany in 1922. Hermle was at the forefront of innovative operations and manufacturing by 1930. They branched out into engineering and quartz movement clocks in the 1970s. Hermle produces DIY clock kits, completed clocks, mechanical mechanisms, battery-operated mechanisms, and accessories including dials, pendulums, and weight shells. Hermle is a manufacturer with operations in more than 80 countries that supplies the wholesale market.
