Spectacular W. A. Rogers from Oneida Silversmiths Silverplated Cutlery Set. Manufactured in the USA. For many people, Oneida is only a name for a particular kind of silverware, but the company has a rich history that dates back to Oneida, New York, in 1848. John Humphrey Noyes founded the Oneida Community to serve as a religious commune. Under the name Oneida Community, Oneida Community began manufacturing silver-plated goods in 1899. 1929 saw Oneida Community acquire the 1881 and W.A. Rogers firms. Oneida Community's name was changed to Oneida Ltd. in 1935. Oneida Silverware and WA Rogers are some more brands. When Oneida began making stainless steel cutlery in the early 1960s, production of silver plate silverware was reduced and eventually replaced. Many people today are interested in the silver plate cutlery that the company made in the middle of the 20th century. Many sets have lasted in good shape thanks to the silver plating's high quality, and subsequent generations continue to adore the timeless patterns. Set comes in Original Wooden Box and features 90-pieces of Cutlery.
